He is survived by: his wife Judy McPherson of Shullsburg, WI; his children, Tina Keeney-Tate of Shullsburg, WI and Tony Keeney (Kathryn) of Oxford Junction, IA; his brothers, Fred Potter (Brenda) of Canton, IA and Jack Potter of Maquoketa, IA; his grandchildren, Kurtis T. Keeney, Joseph J. Keeney, Ron A. Carr, Timothy D. Keeney and Jonathan R. Keeney; and his great grandchildren, Amy, Samantha, James, Winter, Willow and Natalie.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, memorials may be made to the Sidney F. Potter memorial fund.
