George D. Hill Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George D. Hill of Shullsburg, Wisconsin, born in Beloit, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 25, 2024 at the age of 70. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr. Hill and Doris Hill (Dalton); and his brothers, Raymond Hill Jr. and Richard Hill. He is survived by: his wife Joanne Curran of Matthew's Catholic Church; his daughters, Julie Lux (Todd) of Tomball, TX, Michelle Wedige (Dan) of Shullsburg and Beth Hill (Nora) of Middleton, WI; his grandchildren, William of Reagan, RJ, Kennedy Lux, Tyler Hill (Emily), Rayna Wedige, Aylish and Eamon Hill; his great grandchild Braelyn Hill; and his siblings, David Hill (Audrey), Ronnie Hill (Joyce), Randy Hill (Cathy), Ricky Hill (Karla), Loretta Bevars, Arnetta Beau (Bob), Susie Reynolds (Dave) and Rose McCoy (Raymond). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Catholic Church (344 N Judgement St, Shullsburg, WI 53586).
