She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Cherry and Genevieve Cherry (Aurit); and her sister Ruth Cherry. She is survived by: her husband Ken Townsend of Dubuque; her children, Terry Townsend of Dubuque, Julie Gladson (Larry) of Cedar Rapids, IA., Tim Townsend (Colleen) of Germantown, WI and Mark Townsend of Dubuque; her grandchildren, Taylor, Kimberly, Claire, Marc, Jason, Carly, Michael and Kyle; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Nora, Caroline, Eleanor, Brooks and Lucas; and her sisters, Jeri Byrne (Joe) of Shullsburg, Joan Derderian of Dubuque and Debbie Lethlean (Bill) of Greendale, WI..
