He is survived by: his fiancée Barbara Bauer; his children, Andee Van Straten, Heather Dobbs (Richard), Jeremy Van Straten and Jason Van Straten; his granddaughter Grace Van Straten; and his siblings, Jaqulyne Waterstradt (Gary), Tom Van Straten (Janice), Richard Van Straten (Kathy), John Van Straten (Lucy) and Jane Reinke (David). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, their children and their children's children.
