He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Diermeier; his sons, Dave (Wendy) and Norman Kainz (Nancy); his son-in-law Wayne Krenz; his daughters, Ann Graf (Tim), Laura Christie (Ron) and Dianna Sullivan; his grandchildren, Carly, Dana, Dan, Nick, Luke, Rachel, Jackie, Tommy, Jonas, Jordon, Strya and Reyna; and his siblings, Carmen Merkes and Gerald (Audrey). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
