It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl G. Holz of Shiocton, Wisconsin, born in Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 17, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Holz and Sadie Holz (Krull); his sister Carol Arneson; his parents-in-law, Lewis and Esther Baird; and his siblings-in-law, Lois Klug, Judy Plach, Patsy Baird, Pinkie Baird, Jerry Riehl, Vernie Arneson, Lawrence Klug and Roger Plach.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Baird; his daughters, Terri James (Ron), Brenda Hooyman (John Heimmermann), Karla Riehl (Gordon) and Wendy Mentzel (Kevin); his grandchildren, Amanda Vanden Boogaard (Ben), Kaytlin Hooyman, Kelcie Hooyman (John Wernet), Keegan Hooyman (Rachel), Karleigh Hooyman, Alycia Riehl, Jacob Riehl (Cassi) and Dashal Mentzel; his siblings, Gary Holz (Charr), LeRoy Holz (Mary) and Arlene Riehl; and his brother-in-law Jerry Baird. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
