He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Nett and Josephine Nett (Franzen); his wife Constance "Connie" Nettekoven; his brothers, James, Peter and Paul; his stepmother Zelda; his stepsisters, Genevieve and Joanne; and his parents-in-law, John and Anna Nettekoven.
He is survived by: his children, Eugene Nett Jr. (Julie), Victor Nett and Ida Diedrich (Dean); his grandchildren, Alicia Diedrich (Colin Young), Derek Diedrich (Jaycie), Grant, Hunter, Dakota (Kyle Abegglen) and Alexis Nett; his siblings, Sylvester, Ralph Nett (Annette), Linda Duesterhoeft (Tom) and Judy Lillie (Joseph); and his siblings-in-law, Ervin, Jim Nettekoven (Donna) and Marilyn Nettekoven. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (N369 Military Rd, Sherwood, WI 54169). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Friends of High Cliff State Park, which helps to provide handicap accessibility to trails.
