He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Crosby and Elsie Crosby (Lamport); his grandsons, Kenneth Melin and David Bauer; his son Carl Hopke; and his siblings, June Hamann, Ethel Hopke, Beatrice Lee and Herman Crosby.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine; his children, Garry Crosby (Beth), Glen "Gene" Crosby (Donna), Donna Melin (Jerry), JoAnn Bauer (Tim) and Kathleen Spears (Mike); and his daughter-in-law Kim Crosby. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren.
