He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vanderhyde and Edith Vanderhyde; his siblings, Bob Ruport, Dean Vanderhyde, Ernie Vanderhyde, Bert Vanderhyde, Cal Vanderhyde, Richard Vanderhyde, Artis Peppinger and Muriel Ruport; and his son-in-law Bob Braeckman.
He is survived by: his children, Lucy Braeckman, Jeff Vanderhyde, Tammy Washkuhn and Kevin Vanderhyde; his grandchildren, Adam, Dylan Washkuhn, Bobby Braeckman and Ashley May (Jake); and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Mikaylaa, Graycen, Gavin, Maelee, Finley, Chevy, Eleanor and Oliver. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
