He is survived by: his wife Dawn; his children, Kent Fliflet (Mary Anna Champa) of Eau Claire, Brett Walsh (Mary Jo Hibbard) of Ladysmith, ReNae Bolts of Naples, FL, Rachel Fliflet (Brenda Weyenberg) of Eau Claire, Amanda Fliflet of Oxford, MS and Chrissy Hurtgen (JP Hurtgen) of Senoia, GA; and his siblings, Darrell Fliflet of Eau Claire, Terry Fliflet (Julie) of Winona, MN, Gail Unterschuetz (Bruce) of Iquitos and Peru. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
