He was predeceased by: his wife Darlene; and his parents, Alpha Kauffman and Alma Kauffman (Nussbaum). He is survived by: his children, Arthur (Evelyn), Manuel (Ana Maria) and Joy (Jose Del Valle). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
