She was predeceased by: her father Herman Sasse; her husband Norman Kasten; and her brother Karl Sasse (Betty). She is survived by: her close friend Ann Marx; her children, Jim Kasten of Florida and Sandra Kasten (Eric Johnson); her granddaughter Tammy Rueger; her children, Zachary of Sheboygan, Joshua of Sheboygan and Kim Kasten (Marlyn) of North Carolina; her grandson Aaron Gaitens (Cheri); her great grandchild Faye Guffey (Joshua); her sons, Jesten (Kimberly), Jeremy and Jamin of Madison; her godchildren, Bob Sasse (Bev), Nancy Kushnier (Scott) and Phillip Kasten; and her niece Sue Weinknecht (Mike). She is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
In earlier years, Wilma traveled, camped with her family, and volunteered at Bethesda, the Senior Center, and in various capacities at Bethlehem School and Church, where she was still a greeter up to the start of the pandemic.
Wilma was his caregiver the many years he had Parkinson's disease.
