He was predeceased by: his father Reinhold Kohl. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Kohl; his sister Annabelle "Ann" Dvorachek (Joe); and his sister-in-law Mary Kohl. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial donations can be made in William's name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls.
