It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tommy James Mathis of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Larry Laabs Sr.; and his pets, Brandy and Chloe. He is survived by: his mother Anita Laabs; his children, Samantha Schoenick, Makayla Mathis, Monty and Mason Mathis; his nephews, Logan and Max Mathis; his niece Gabby Mathis; his grandchildren, Tommy, Monty Jr., Maebelle Mathis, Ben and Theo Schoenick; and his siblings, Shawn, Shay DeGroat, Al Mathis, Mary Schumacker, Larry Laabs, David Rivers, Laura Paris and Carrie Kreif.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Tommy's name.
