He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Burgin and Dolores Burgin (Bell); his parents-in-law, Henry and Rose Marie Reimer; his sisters, Susan Urner-Hermann and Jennifer Burgin; and his siblings-in-law, Jacqueline Barden (Kim), Judith Reimer, Kurt Reimer and Mark Dietrich Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Susan Reimer; his sons, Christopher Burgin (Kim Bassuener) and Scott A. Burgin (Jamie) of Oostburg; his granddaughter Brielynn; his sisters, Maureen Louisa (Hank) of Kansas City, KS and Lori Retzloff of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings-in-law, Michael Reimer Sr., James Hermann, Michelle Sjollema (Peter) of Sheboygan and Christine Dietrich of Apache Junction, AZ.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
