She is survived by: her husband Walter Scheele Jr.; her children, Michael Scheele (Shelley) and Sheri Severson (Sean); her grandchildren, Ashley Murphy (Kyle), Ryan Scheele (Delilah) and Grace Severson; her great grandchildren, Jace Scheele and Wesson Murphy; her brother Tommy Fredericksen (Maureen); and her nieces, Lynn Merritt (Steve) and Kim Fredericksen (Kyle).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Susan's name.
