He is survived by: his parents, Wendell and Carrie of Georgia; his wife Marlene; his sister Christina Jones; his children, Kristine Slaughter, Daniel (Flora) of Georgia and Philip (Nicole) of Georgia; and his grandchildren, Marci, David, Joel, Danielle, Nicholas, Evan, Meghan and Benjamin. He is also survived by extended family, and many, many friends.
