He is survived by: his siblings, Suzanne Ponath of Sheboygan and Tom Ponath of Denver, Colorado; his sister-in-law Sally Ponath; his nephews, Erich Ponath (Liz), Scott Ponath (Jenny) and Jackson Ponath; his friend Rich Bohlman; his wife Cheri Ponath; his stepchildren, Matthew Zeman (Olivia) and Michelle Lewis (Rob); and his stepgrandchildren, Madison, Charlotte, Greta, Molly Zeman, Alana and Nolan Lewis.
