She was predeceased by: her parents, John C. Lerch and Katharine E. Lerch (Zitzer); her husband Emil Robert Gunther; her daughter Laura; her grandson Zachary Koenig; her great grandchild Brendan Koenig; her sister Frieda Methfessel (Robert); and her cousin Rosie Zitzer Poth (Henry).
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Koenig of Sun Prairie and Mark; her grandchildren, Shawn Koenig and Angela Tonn (Jarrod); and her great grandchildren, Erin Koenig, Amelia and Adelaide Tonn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Sheboygan County Humane Society.
