She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Bender and Erma Bender (Schmidt); her son Matthew Kuhfuss; her in-laws, Arvin and Aroma Kuhfuss; her stepmother-in-law Anita Kuhfuss; and her sisters-in-law, Helen and Sharon Kuhfuss.
She is survived by: her husband David Kuhfuss; her daughter Deb Haft (Ralph); her grandson Josh Haft (Kristi); her sons, Jeff and Chad Kuhfuss (Michelle); her grandsons, Trevor, Jared and Evan; her sisters, Suzi Boedecker (Marvin) and Sharon; her brother-in-law Junior Will; her brothers, Steve Bender (Rita) and Scott Bender (Sandy); and her brothers-in-law, Jim Kuhfuss, Bill Kuhfuss and Ron Kuhfuss (Janelle). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Sandy's memory to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or Bookworm Gardens.
