Ruth L. Mehre Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth L. Mehre of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth L. Mehre to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Weinhold and Erna Johnson Weinhold; her brother Gerald; and her in-laws, Victor and Frieda Mehre.
She is survived by: her husband Earl M. Mehre of John's Lutheran Church; her children, Kaye Mehre, Vickie Hansen (Jay) of Heyworth, IL, Scott Mehre and Brett Mehre (Stephanie); her grandsons, Bryce (Katie), Spencer (Sarah), Evan (Jade), Alex (Jessica) and Garrett (Bella); and her sister-in-law Leah Weinhold. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1810 N 13th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established in her name for the St. Paul's Piecemakers Quilt Group or the American Lung Association for research for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).
