He is survived by: his wife Sissy; his children, Rhonda Koepke (Guy), Melissa Shircel (Adam), Ron "Moose" Strickland Jr. (Tracy), Joe Strickland (Stacey) and Jim Strickland (Lisa Martinez); his grandchildren, Amanda (Julio), Brittnie, Robert, Sean (Katie), Riley, Taylan, Eli, Hailey, Nolan, Charlie, Jaxon, Mia, Emma, Landon and Judah; and his siblings, Robbie Martin, Kitty Bullinger (Lawrence), Butch Strickland (Pat), Lyle Strickland (Nancy), Cheryl Bolle (Lee), Marla Lambourn, Kirby Sandvik and Kim Sandvik (Kathy). He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
