He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Savela and Sylvia Savela (Beckman); his brother Ronald Savela; and his sister-in-law Carol Mertzig. He is survived by: his wife Linda Savela of Sheboygan; his children, Shelley Savela of Grafton and Robert Savela, Jr. of Minneapolis; his sisters, Linda Chernetski and Lori Gamez (Henry); and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Buttner (Steve), Susie Marchand, Pam Meissner (Mike) and Victor Mertzig. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and many other relatives and friends.
