He is survived by: his wife Sharon J. Carr; his children, Mari Lin Van Haveren (Christopher Chappell), Madison and Rick Van Haveren (Amy) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Austin, Harris, Colton Chappell, Susanna, Miles and Clarissa Van Haveren; his brother Wesley Van Haveren; his siblings-in-law, John Stephen and Mary Ann Kusler (Howard); and his close friend Tom Buteyn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established in his name for St. Luke UMC or a charity of your choice.
