He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Schroedel and Violet Schroedel. He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Kimberly Meyer and Eric (Jennifer Johnson); his grandchildren, Brooke, Clayton, Emily and Penelope; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Oakley; and his brother Kevin Schroedel. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund in Rusty's name has been established.
