She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Neese and Florence Neese (Stecker); her husband Dennis Friedrichs; her daughter Martha; her close friend Jim Martin; and her friends, Judy Lemp, Dar Mech and Ellen Mary Trout.

She is survived by: her daughters, Aimee Steinbruecker (Randy) and Zoe Rohde (John); and her grandchildren, Deylin Steinbruecker, John Rohde Jr. (Katie Turner) and James Rohde.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and will be given to Sheboygan Senior Community in Phyllis's memory.
