He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cesar and Jacqueline Maas Cesar; and his siblings, David, Stephen and Victoria Schauer.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Zimmerman; his sons, Kevin of Sheboygan and Troy Cesar (Sarah) of Sheboygan; his grandson Emile Cesar; his sisters-in-law, Debbie Garski (Joe) and Dawn Race; and his former wife Diane Marmes (Timothy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name for the Salvation Army.
