She was predeceased by: her parents, Arno Thiel and Lillian Thiel (Stange); her husband Charles Wirtz; her son Rick Wirtz; her siblings, Ronald Thiel (Patricia), Jerome Thiel (Loretta) and Nancy Thiel; and her sister-in-law Sue Thiel.
She is survived by: her pets, Puffy and Muffy; her daughters, Kathleen Stache (James) of Sheboygan, Deborah Wirtz of Sheboygan and Wendy Larsen (David) of Denmark; her grandchildren, Aaron Wirtz (Tonya), Jeremy Wirtz, Jeffrey Schultz (Christina), Mellissa Runge (Chad), Anthony Larsen (Sara), Ryan Schultz and Amanda Lindert (Justin); her great grandchildren, Kaylee Wirtz, Keegan Runge, Sophia Runge, Molly Mueller, Ryleigh Wirtz, Jackson Runge, Avery Runge, Allison Larsen, Logan Larsen, Cole Lindert, Lilliana Larsen and Melina Schultz; and her brother Arno Thiel Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Marilyn's name.
