She was predeceased by: her father August Degnitz; and her husband Roman Hammes. She is survived by: her son Eugene Hammes (Rosalyn) of Georgetown, TX; and her grandson Brian Hammes of Driftwood, TX. She is also survived by niece and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lorraine's name to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
