She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wallander and Carrie Wallander (Tikalsky); her close friend LaVerne "Lee" Larson; and her siblings, Elroy Wallander (Dorothy), Arthur Wallander (Mary), Charlotte Sterk (Victor), Arlene Schema (Jack) and Ernie Wallander.

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Marcia Wallander. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial fund has been established in her name.
