She was predeceased by: her parents, Alwin Kuhfuss and Mildred Kuhfuss (Toedter); her brothers, Skip and Paul; and her nephews, Paul L. Kuhfuss and Paul Kuhfuss Jr..

She is survived by: her son Eric Kuhfuss (Michele); her grandchildren, Cooper and McKenna Kuhfuss; her nieces, Kari Piel (Dick), Cassie Hogue and Kathy Lorenz; her nephew Craig Kuhfuss; and her close friends, Frankie, Buddy, Purl, Peg, Gert, Keith, Nancy, Richie and Bernie.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Lois's name.
