He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Augustson and Geraldine Augustson (Binns); his significant other Linda; his significant other's children, Josh Sachse (Jennifer) of Sheboygan and Nikki Sachse (Todd Stelter) of Plymouth; his sons, Adam Augustson (Lauren) of New Jersey and Dr. David Augustson (Nelí) of Minnesota; his grandchildren, Caleb, William, Eloise Augustson, Julia, Olivia, Sophia, Cecilia Sachse, Emilee and Evan Torres; and his sister Beth Bradshaw (Harold) of Galesburg, IL.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in his name.
