She was predeceased by: her father Calvin Kirchenwitz; and her brothers-in-law, Mike Lokker and James Fortuna. She is survived by: her husband Tony Fortuna; her children, Mandy Sarazen (Cory) and Jason Fortuna (Katie); her grandchildren, Ava, Carter, Makaela and Hannah; her mother Marilyn Kirchenwitz; her siblings, Karla Lokker (Sam), Kurt Kirchenwitz (Pat) and Ed Kirchenwitz (Amy); and her close friends, Jackie, Cindy, Karen and Phyllis. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Kathy's name.
