Though John Van Der has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Male and Audrey Van Der Male; and his half-sister Krina Wammis. He is survived by: his wife Joan "Joni" Van Der Male; his sons, Matthew Van Der (Barbara) and Nathan Van Der (Heather); his stepsons, Scott Kopetsky (Linda), Michael Kopetsky and Todd Kopetsky; and his friend John. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in John's name may be made to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or LakeHouse Sheboygan.
