He is survived by: his wife Barb Tait; his children, Andrew Tait (Amy), Jennifer Sowinski (James), Brian Tait (Meaghan), Kathryn Vergeront (John), Alison Tait (Dave Galuska), Peter Tait (Elizabeth) and Robert Tait (Naomi); his grandchildren, Brianne Bastman, Brady Tait, Elaina, Matthew Sowinski, Carter, Chandler, Caris Tait, Taylor, Henry Vergeront and Bode Tait Nelson; his great grandchild Ari Reed Bastman; and his siblings, Mary Miller, Claudette Prenger (Steve) and Thomas C. Tait Jr. (Jane).
