He is survived by : his wife Myrtle Mulvaney (Wilke); his son James; his siblings, Ken, Anna Mae Jurss and Frances Pallaske; his children, Patrick (MaryAnn), Sharon (Jack), Thomas (Maria), Kathleen, Janice (David), David (Pam) and Julie; his sister La Verne Stegemeyer; and his grandchildren, Nathan (Heidi), Rebecca, John, Sean, Alexandra, Elizabeth and Kyle (Amanda).
