He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Kuether and Elizabeth Kuether; his brother John Kuether; his niece Jillian Kuether; his brother-in-law Robert Cizauskas; and also, Frederick and Elizabeth Kuether.
He is survived by: his wife Mary McDowell; his daughter Anna Post (Derek); his sister Mary Cizauskas; his grandchildren, Harrison and Hayden Post; his sisters-in-law, Kathy Koellner (Jerry), Karen Markelz (Peter) and Marion Kuether; his nieces and nephews, Carrie Cizuaskas (Jeremy), Jonathan Cizauskas (Katie), Matthew Rammer, Kate Markelz and Jacob Markelz (Jessica); his friends, Dave, Peggy Daehn, Jerry, Lisa Geibel, Mark Weinberger and Eugene Puchniarz; and his caregivers, Hayley, Nicole, Brenna, Allison, Melisa, Dr. Seetharaman and Dr. Pikos.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center (1201 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Ballhorn Chapels (1201 N 8th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made out to the Sheboygan County Humane Society in Joel's name, as he was passionate about loving and adopting animals needing homes.
