She was predeceased by: her son-in-law Clay Wenger of Brookfield; her father-in-law Ron Greger; and also Joan Greger. She is survived by: her parents, John Maurer and Maxine Maurer; her husband Timothy E. Greger; her children, Jamie Melville (Ward) of Brookfield, Christopher Greger (Jessica) of Sheboygan and Andrea Greger of Madison; her grandchildren, Addyson, Thomas, Ellie, James and Elizabeth; and her brothers, Dan Maurer (Sue) of Sheboygan, Don Maurer (Beth) of Waukesha and Dennis Maurer (Lois) of Menomonee Falls. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Janine's name to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
