He was predeceased by: his parents, James Collins and Agnes Collins (Parker); and his close friend Robert Robinson. He is survived by: his children, James Collins Jr. of Texarkana, TX, Gerri Collins, Molik Collins and Dakota Orvis of Sheboygan, WI; his siblings, Willie "Speck" Johnson, Anthony "Tony" Collins, Michael "Mike" Collins, Charles "Chuck" Collins and Sabrina Collins-Richardson; and his brother-in-law James Richardson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
