In loving memory of Gertrude A. Hameister of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, who departed this world on April 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Gertrude leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Marx and Ella Marx (Lutze); her husband Ray Hameister; and her siblings, Orval (Cleora), Norman and Adeline (Ervin).
She is survived by: her children, DuWayne Hameister (Carla), Gary Hameister (Chris), LuAnn Pappas (Victor) and Cheryl Meyer (Paul); her grandchildren, Joseph (Katie), Michael, Steven, Jonathan, Maria (Alan), Carissa (Kyle), Ryan (Abbey), Maxwell and Jack; and her great grandchildren, Landon, Rowan, Holden and Natalie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zimmer Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (W2132 Garton Rd, Howards Grove, WI 53083). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Gertie's memory to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or First Congregational UCC, Sheboygan.
