She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Hettinger and Florence Hettinger (Kuehn); her husband Frederick Rusch (Midge); her brother Leo; and her grandson Eric.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Martin (Michael), Martha Hornickel (Daniel), James Rusch (Donna), Thomas Rusch (Lynn), Kathleen Klee (Michael) and Mary Strohm (Gary); and her sister Carol Fritz. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Geraldine's name can be made to either Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Sheboygan Senior Community.
