He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Damkot and Evelyn Damkot (Jensema); his brothers, Robert and Eugene Damkot; his parents-in-law, George and Florence Nelson; his brother-in-law David Nelson (Irene); and his nephews, Wade Reif and David Nelson II.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Nelson; his sons, Adam Damkot (Lynn) and Jason Damkot (Margaret); his grandchildren, Magic Delong (Taylor), Devin Damkot, Payton Damkot, Brittany McDonald (Matt Stewart), Ahren and Kelly Crotty; his great grandchildren, Alise Crotty and Acaccia Delong; his sisters, Karen Lammers (Wayne) and Mary Olson (Steve); and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Damkot, Linda Damkot and Cynthia Epping (Art). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Sheboygan Humane Society in Jerry's name.
