He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frederick Grunow and Irene Grunow (Margaret Grunow); his wife Margaret Stegemeyer; his children, Gary Grunow (Tara), Dawn Higgins (Darwin) and Wendy Grunow-Giesler; his grandchildren, Cullen, Hunter, Cheyanne, Destin, Thomas and Hannah; his siblings, Dave Grunow (Honor), Glen Grunow, Bonnie Paplham (Larry), Penny Johnson (Tim) and Patty Paasch (Dave); his sister-in-law Georgette Bruss; his pet Blanca; his parents-in-law, Marie Stegemeyer and Kenneth Stegemeyer; his brother-in-law Bernhard Stegemeyer; and his grandson Edwin Higgins.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Gary's name.
