She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Boeldt and Dorothy Boeldt (Prinsen); and her in-laws, Gordon and Lorraine Gerhartz. She is survived by: her sons, Gavin Gerhartz (Katherin) and Gregory Gerhartz (Ken Nagy); her husband Gary R. Gerhartz; her grandsons, Nathan (Ashley) and Nicholas; her friends, Randy and Carol Rossman; and her caregivers, Allison, Angela, Ariana, Marie, Rachael, Courtney, Laurie, Paul, Crystal, Kayla, Michelle and Jessica. She is also survived by cousins and many other friends.
In addition to flowers, memorials can also be made to the St. Nicholas Hospital Foundation in Faye's name.
