She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hackbarth and Martha Hackbarth; her stepmother Dorothy; and her daughter-in-law Linda. She is survived by: her children, Andrew Burkart (Lucia) of Paducah, KY, Philip Burkart (Linda) of Green Lake, David Burkart (Hayley) of Sheboygan and Paula Burkart of Sheboygan; her grandchildren, Kelly Sheveland (Tyler) of Brookfield, Kate Burkart (Brady Bellin) of Pewaukee, Kimberley Bayer (Matthew) of Milwaukee, Natalie Wright (Bradley) of Cincinnati, Jack Burkart (Kristin) of Great Barrington, MA, Luke Burkart (Ellen) of Madison and Jeryka Allison (Billy) of Sheboygan; her great grandchildren, Maria, Paul, Stephen, Gregory, Lawrence, Margo and Grant; her sister-in-law Betty Kramer of Madison; and her friends, Anna Jakubovich and Kathleen Finger.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Peter Claver Catholic Church (1439 S 12th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Meals on Wheels of Sheboygan County in her name.
