He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clabots and Agnes Amelse Clabots; his brother James Clabots; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Beis and Sue Klemas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Utes; his children, Christine Clabots (Matthieu Permentier), Sarah Clabots-Kim, Keun Hwan Kim (Sheboygan) and John; his daughter-in-law Meg Clabots (Stevens Point); his grandchildren, Eleanor, Isabelle Permentier, Beatrice, Sidonia Kim, Gus and Lucille Clabots; his siblings, Frances Beis, Gerald (Della Clabots) and Joseph Clabots; his sister-in-law Gloria Clabots; his sister Anne; and his brother-in-law Greg LaPlante. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ed's name can be made to Grace Episcopal Church to be used for refugee relief, Sharon Richardson Community Hospice, The Sheboygan YMCA, or The Sheboygan County Cancer Care Fund.
