He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst H. Mayer and Anna Mayer (Kramer); his sister Evelyn Steinhardt (Mayer); his siblings-in-law, Jeanette Menke (Laack), Betty Jane Puls (Laack), Frederick Menke, John Puls and Roy Steinhardt; and his nephew Mark Menke.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Laack (Laack). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
