Dorothy Grimmer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Grimmer (Sheboygan, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 5, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Schaefer and Elizabeth Schaefer (Kossman); her husband Peter Grimmer; and her siblings, John Schaefer (Bea), Henry Schaefer (Beverly), Emma Miller (Howard), Frieda Hernke (Bill), Esther Casady (Andy) and Ruth Leonhardt (Jerry).

She is survived by: her daughters, Debbie Smith (Ken) of Marietta and Diane Dettmann (Darrel) of Eagan, Minnesota.; and her grandchildren, David Maxwell (Melissa) of Huntsville, Brian Maxwell of Cleveland and Elizabeth Dettmann of Eagan, Minnesota..

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sheboygan Humane Society as a tribute to Dorothy's love and care for animals.
