He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Linsley and Edna Linsley (Andersen); his wife Nancy; his parents-in-law, Elmer and Amanda Borchardt; and his son Steven.

He is survived by: his daughter Diane; and his son-in-law Michael Schmahl of Sheboygan.
