He was predeceased by: his father Daniel Wicka; and his stepson Adam Osuch. He is survived by: his mother Glenadine Wicka (Hanson); his significant other Debbie Osuch; his stepson Logan Osuch (Sarah); his stepgrandchildren, Natalie, Oliver and Lindsay Streets (Tim); his sister Deb Weiler (Joe); his nieces and nephews, Holly Beine (Kevin), Maxx Liebig (Dana), Katrina Hanson (Pat) and Zach Weiler; his sister Barb Campbell (Pat); his nieces and nephews, Karley and Kasey Campbell; his sister Jackie Hempstead (Rob); his nephew Nathan Hempstead (Jessica); his niece Savannah Brake (Jesse); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophia, Whitley, Alfred, Jasper and Sable; his aunt Judie Miller; and his uncle Don Evanson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Dan's name.
